As an unequivocal reflection of the firm growth that our think tank is having these days, Colonel Pedro Baños promoted the Association “Sovereignty”, in his podcast of July 17, 2026

In fact, the renowned colonel, who is also an eminent expert in global geopolitics, pointed out, before his loyal community, the structural, organizational and distinctive qualities of the Association “Sovereignty”, saying that it is composed of “some of the best geopolitical analysts from all over the planet”, adding “you will see that it is currently composed of 94 experts from 26 countries; among them, there are diplomats, there are researchers, there are academics, there are high, very high commands, including generals from various countries. People with a lot of experience who know perfectly well what they are talking about.”

Baños, with his proverbial style, predicted that our group of experts will be a focus of international attention, extending the invitation for our independent center to intervene regularly in its programs. Deference that, of course, is an honor for the directors and members of Association “Sovereignty”.

It is relevant to note that, during the development of the entire program, the name and website of Association “Sovereignty” occupied a prominent space on the screen, while Baños viewers were eager to learn more about this think tank and the analytical perspectives of our expert members who participated in the podcast.

Thus, Guillermo Rocafort and Christian Lamesa were able to present their corresponding specific analyses on multiple and varied issues that are part of the international order.

Among these problems and conflicts, which are of different order and magnitude, the aforementioned analysts spoke, clearly and precisely, of the complex relationship between Spain and NATO.

On this, Rocafort considered negatively the deployment of Spanish troops in Finland as an operational part of NATO’s Advanced Land Forces, which operates within the framework of a probabilistic and deliberately proposed scenario – by NATO’s decision-making core – of producing a “War in the Arctic”, under the unfounded pretext of a so-called “border security”.

Rocafort said that this measure, which was taken by the government that is led by Pedro Sánchez, is carried out “behind the back of parliament. Because I believe that, in any country in the world, sending troops, in this latent and escalating conflict, as we are seeing, would require a public debate from the different political forces”, asking rhetorically “What does a Spaniard do with the Eskimos and on top of that the troops of the mountains of Jaca (in allusion to the soldiers of the Mountain Hunters Regiment “Galicia” nº 64) who have nothing to do with it”.

In an intense moment of exchange of opinion, Baños and Rocafort were extremely concerned about the steps that the government of Spain is taking, leading the country to feasible situations of external wars at the same time that “national sovereignty is sold.”

Guillermo Rocafort also pointed out the historical and constant betrayal of the United Kingdom towards its supposed “friends”, whom it pushes towards environments of war, based on British geopolitical interests, but then London abandons them, leaving such pseudo “friends” with the accumulated destruction.

For his part, Christian Lamesa referred to the true character of NATO, saying that it is an “offensive military organization, not a defensive one” and that the power clans that hold Ukrainian state management, together with their Western sponsors, are trying to lead the world “to a Third World War”, bringing the words of the US president to the dialogue table.  Donald Trump, when he said that Zelensky “was playing with World War III”.

According to Lamesa’s analysis criteria, the alliance of Atlanticist and globalist power wants to “sow destruction and go against what is already a reality, which is the multipolar world, with sovereigntist countries and leaders who work in pursuit of the interests of their peoples. On the contrary, what is done, for example, by President Sánchez, who governs for the interests, among others, of George Soros”.

Due to the quality of the presenting analysts, Rocafort and Lamesa, the viewers of the “The Colonel Channel” were able to closely follow the opinions that these members of Association “Sovereignty” have regarding the files of West Asia, the United States and Latin America.
