Around the energy crisis in Europe

September 14, 2026

Western Europe is deficient in fossil energy. Unlike the giants of China (which is on its way to becoming an “electro-state”), the United States or Russia, which have large amounts of their own energy resources, European states have also become dependent in this regard.

The political and military subordination of European countries after the occupation of 1945 has become chronic. In a technological civilization, whoever owns energy and also controls it, largely controls power. Previous oil crises demonstrated (such as that of the 1970s) that Europeans must be prepared to abandon the car and resort to the bicycle at any time. In the same way, the maintenance of the very high standards of consumption of Europeans, paying dearly for energy and not having sufficiently developed renewable energies, is something that will mean the economic ruin of this part of the world.

The so-called “Hormuz crisis”, i.e. the unjustifiable attack by the United States on the Islamic Republic of Iran, is yet another proof of the incompatibility of interests and aims of the United States, on the one hand, and Europe, on the other.

According to what we can read in the press, the US aggressions have caused such a blockage in the supply routes, that the Europeans have had and will have to assume a high cost overrun in the import of crude oil. Only four European countries (the Netherlands, Italy, France and Spain) will have to pay 41,000 million euros more due to the Hormuz “plug”, according to Euronews. Of those 41,000 million, 8,000 correspond to the Kingdom of Spain.

The states of Europe, deficient in energy and many basic resources for the modern technological industry, have earned their dependence, submission and lack of strategic autonomy. In vain, the Atlanticist press, which continues to brainwash in Europe, will blame the Iranian “radicals” for the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz and the instability of the Middle East. However, the illegal and savage attacks initiated by Trump, which included the targeted assassination of negotiators and political leaders, are the real cause of this crisis that will ruin Europe.

Geopolitically, America is a large island, relatively isolated from the disturbances of the rest of the planet, a large island endowed with its own mineral and energy resources in which the Yankee north can take refuge or retreat in the event of an accumulation of defeats, exploiting the south of its own continent (the “backward homeland of the Monroe Doctrine”) or snatching Greenland, etc.

However, the Europeans have seen, right under their noses, how the Americans initiate conflicts that contravene their objective interests and plunge them even further into the quasi-colonial dependence that dates back to 1945. Not realizing this asymmetry is fatal. There are attacks and actions that the Americans (for the moment) can afford, but the Europeans cannot.

The blowing up of Nord Stream (26-09-22), accepted and even disguised by Germany, the first to be harmed in Western Europe, followed in submission by the other European countries directly interested in this gas pipeline, is another flagrant case: the interests of the United States and those of Europe do not coincide. On the contrary, they are contradictory: what benefits one party necessarily harms the other, and vice versa.

Russian gas, close and cheap for a significant part of Europe, is now forbidden by American imposition. Europe buys expensive gas from Uncle Sam and forbids itself, out of pure vassalage to the Americans, to negotiate with Russia. The entrenchment of the Ukrainian conflict, taking the authentic form of a real NATO war against Russia, can be understood as yet another episode of Yankee colonization of Europe.

The leaders and major parties that govern European states are instructed, if not directly selected, by the United States. The theatrical staging of certain frictions or disagreements between Trump and his vassals cannot hide the objective facts. In order to achieve their geopolitical objectives, the Americans are willing to economically sink the whole of Europe.

The Spanish case is quite representative and similar to the German one. Madrid obtained cheap and nearby gas from Algeria (more than 30% of its needs), instead of Russia.

The submissive policy with respect to the Atlantic Axis, exercised by the government of Pedro Sánchez and the PSOE, caused a deadlock in the 2022-2023 financial year of relations with Algeria, a blockage that is now being remedied.

More than 600 million euros of losses due to Madrid’s abject submission to Rabat, and all for aligning itself with the Atlanticist-Zionist axis that includes Rabat. Spain must be the only case in the world in which a European state, belonging (supposedly) to the “free world” and “advanced” is colonized by a North African dictatorship, where backwardness and ignorance reign.

And this can only be explained by Atlanticist vassalage. However, a cursory study of the figures for investments by Spanish businessmen in Morocco, and by Moroccan businessmen in Spain, looks different.

In that disastrous crisis of 2022, in which Spain de facto renounced the Sahara, a territory to be decolonized but which de jure remains Spanish sovereignty, the government in Madrid showed a face analogous to that of the German government, when Nord Stream was blown up right under its nose: national ruin and the betrayal of sovereign interests must be assumed with impassiveness or resignation because of a vassalage to Atlanticism (that is, to the United States).

The Spanish government – unless there is a radical populist change – will always crawl through the mud before the Moroccan one, and will risk losing Algerian gas or whatever it takes, in exchange for its membership of the Yankee-Zionist-Atlantic Axis, in which Rabat is a key player (and Spain is not). Just like the Germans, who further fuelled rearmament and Russophobia even having sabotaged Nord Stream under their noses, and thus contravening the sovereign interests of the German people and half of Europe.

Being friends with Americans is expensive.
