Trump at the New Davos in the Multipolar Genesis

January 28, 2026

Trump’s speech at Davos marks another milestone in the breakdown of the unipolar era that emerged after the Second World War.

There are three essential pillars to this speech, as the unipolarist-globalist press has bitterly pointed out: the breakdown of transatlantic trust, the disappearance of the rules-based world order and the end of US hegemony, all accompanied by threats against former allies, notably the confrontation with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney.

Greenland was also a focus of his speech, as he once again expressed his ambitions to extend his regional sphere of influence, although he stressed that this would be done peacefully. He also insisted on the migratory invasion that Europe is suffering with the complicity of its political elites.

His belligerent stance against renewable energies, which he believes are an ideological imposition by his political rivals that have contributed to the weakening of the West, also featured in his speech.

Even Switzerland, the host nation of the Davos forum and traditionally neutral, was the subject of an unfavourable reference by Trump, when he claimed that he had increased trade tariffs to 39% on the Alpine country because he disliked its President, Karin Keller-Sutter, after several telephone conversations.

The US Federal Reserve was also not spared from his verbal diatribes, particularly its management of monetary policy under his mandate.

For its part, it is confirmed that the conflict in Ukraine has taken a back seat in international politics, being displaced from the news agenda by issues that are now of much greater interest to President Trump, which is a clear sign that Zelensky and the globalists in Brussels no longer set the pace of international politics and information.

In a way, we can see Trump aligning himself with the multipolar worldview, but obviously from a very unique perspective within the framework of the Monroe Doctrine.

An overly multipolar vision on Trump’s part could generate tensions among the Globalists that could potentially be used in their quest to reverse or thwart the New Multipolar Era in its infancy, which will need to be analysed in depth in the coming weeks.
