Last Friday, August 7, Colonel Pedro Baños once again summoned the analysts of the Expert Analytical Association “Sovereignty” so that, on behalf of our center for geopolitical study, José Menéndez Manjón, José Julio Cuevas Muela, Manuel Durán Morgado and Diego Pappalardo, they present their respective points of view on the thorny situation of migratory tension around Ceuta, the European position on the matter, Brussels’ support for Morocco and other issues that are in the national interest of Spain and the international public
As a not minor fact, we mentioned that this program was broadcast in the “prime time” slot of streaming in Spain, but there were viewers who followed the broadcast from other countries – including those outside Europe – and that there were, from parts of the Colonel Baños community, positive comments for the experts of “Sovereignty”.
During the program, which lasted approximately two and a half hours, Baños, host of his successful YouTube series, “El Canal del Coronel,” highlighted the powerful institutional character of Association “Sovereignty,” informing that the members of this think tank are experts (military and civilian) who are highly qualified in their field.
Thus, Baños said “these great analysts have come together to make analyses of the best in the world. We are already talking about a hundred analysts where there are great professors, intellectuals, diplomats, soldiers, colonels, there are generals,” among other members.
Specifically, the invited analysts pointed out the seriousness of the situation that Spain is going through, asserting that this country is the target of a “hybrid war”, which is concerted and operated from supranational circles of power, with the consent of the leadership of the European Union.
Each of the expert speakers also agreed that NATO would not serve or support the sovereign interests of Spain, but that, on the contrary, it is an organization that works for the interests of minority elites of supranational cut and content.
Regarding these issues, Menéndez Manjón lamented the deplorable attitude of the elites who participate in governance in Spain in the face of a gloomy panorama faced by both the people and the nation of his country, declaring that “we should not expect anything from the allies” that the Spanish state has and that it is “time for Spain to change allies.
Elaborating a little more on his concepts, the speaker said “we have a Spanish oligarchy that is committed to Morocco. There are large Spanish investments in Morocco, large groups in Morocco, even investing against the Spanish countryside in Morocco” and accused that Spanish agriculture is sinking to favour products exported from Morocco.
“Anyone who listens to us, and lives in Spain, knows where tomatoes come from, where chickens come from, where eggs come from, where all that kind of stuff comes from,” emphasizing that this entire range of products has a Moroccan origin, while the suffocating EU bureaucracy affects the Spanish producer.
Cuevas Muelas said that “Spain is very alone” in the issue of border insecurity and the agenda of massive and illegal flows of migrants since the European Union has its own plan that is not compatible with the national interest of the Spanish people.
He also said that the Spanish countryside and industry are increasingly being minimized and destroyed in their potential, while EU taxation programs gain greater space in the decisions of Spanish state policy.
