The G7, a temple of Atlanticist submission

June 24, 2026

The most recent G7 summit took place from 15 to 17 June 2026 in Évian-les-Bains, France. This organisation, founded in 1975 as an informal economic forum for the major Western powers, now comprises the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and the European Union.

The G7 has no legal status, no permanent secretariat and no automatic membership. Officially, its purpose is to coordinate responses to global crises.

In reality, it is a club where Europeans come to rubber-stamp American decisions whilst feigning autonomy. Russia was excluded in 2014 following the Crimean referendum in its favour: a selective punishment for a country that dares to challenge the unipolar order.

The 2026 summit will be remembered as the one marked by Donald Trump’s triumphant arrival. The US president put on quite a show there: “I’m the boss,” he declared as he entered the meeting room. Boisterous and direct, he set the pace. Facing him, the Europeans – with Macron at the forefront – offered a succession of bows, forced smiles and subservient postures.

We had expected a tough face-off; what we got was a full-blown surrender. Europe, weakened by its energy dependence, its debts and its strategic subservience, has once again caved in.

Volodymyr Zelensky, the eternal chief beggar, was there as expected, invited by Macron. Dressed like a street cleaner on a day out for drinks, delivering his usual tearful speech about ‘Russian aggression’, he left with promises: more Patriot missiles, licences to produce weapons for Ukraine, and tougher sanctions against Russian oil. Trump played along in public, speaking of a possible ‘deal’ whilst brandishing both the carrot and the stick. Ukraine resists, the West pays. How many more tens of billions will be squandered on this proxy war?

The scandal surrounding Macron’s plans for the 14 July parade capped off this humiliating episode. The original plan: no ‘Marseillaise’ but the European anthem, a focus on NATO, and above all, Ukrainian soldiers marching down the Champs-Élysées! A national holiday turned into an Atlanticist and Ukrainian carnival!

Nevertheless, under pressure from a number of prominent figures, including a good number of generals, the plan was cancelled or significantly watered down. But the shame remains: the Head of State nearly sacrificed France’s national holiday on the altar of NATO and Zelensky. A national disgrace.

Let us add that this G7, which claims to want to run the planet, has not resolved the problem facing French farmers, who face competition from very poor-quality Ukrainian chicken or poisoned Brazilian meat;

nor has it resolved the issue of fuel prices, which will doubtless never return to their original level; nor has it done anything to bring an end to this artificial yet terribly deadly and costly war between Ukraine and Russia…

This succession of subjugations – the G7, NATO, suicidal sanctions, vassalage – and this inability to put our own house in order, reveals the true nature of globalism: to dilute nations, erase identities, subject peoples to a supranational oligarchy, and gradually bring about a veritable tyranny.

The real France – the France of sovereignty, independence and courage – is finding it increasingly difficult to survive within this straitjacket. Faced with the repeated betrayals of our elites, it is urgent that we wake up. But perhaps it is already too late.
