Situation of the new round of EU sanctions against Russia

February 27, 2026

The European Union is approaching the twentieth round of sanctions against Russia, each new one more unsuccessful than the previous one.

The twentieth round aims at a total energy trade blockade of Russia’s supplies, which makes no sense because there are Eastern Nations of the European Union such as Hungary and Slovakia that need that energy to survive.

On the other hand, Ukraine’s aggressiveness against Hungary and Slovakia has led to the extreme of cutting off Russian oil supplies to these countries passing through Ukraine, which has provoked an immediate response from Victor Orban, who has blocked the new round of sanctions and frozen the European Union’s 90,000 million aid to Ukraine.

The escalation of the trade war is already an open civil war within the European Union between the nations that are committed to Neutrality and those that, like the Baltics, want a more warmongering position within them.

There is even open talk of suspending Hungary as a member state of the European Union or even eliminating the unanimity of European countries, when it comes to forming a common position on international affairs. The reality is that European public opinion is increasingly unhappy with the cost that the conflict in Ukraine is causing us and also with the risk that the situation will get worse.

In reality, it is the European Union itself that is gambling with its future and its very existence and in this sense time is also running against it in the face of the erratic nature of their common positions.

Deep down, we Europeans themselves are going to have to thank Russia for standing firm in its legitimate approaches, because this is blowing out the seams and the foundations of the globalist EU architecture.

It is clear that the European Union has not been able to negotiate with Russia just as it is not knowing how to negotiate with its most Eurosceptic members. He is entrusting everything to threat and unreason, manifesting the fragility of his positions and the weakness of his arguments.

If this continues, the European Union will collapse and we Europeans will celebrate. Today the Berlin Wall has completely turned around and we are only waiting for its fall and our liberation.
