The keys to global geopolitics: Here and now
Juan Antonio Aguilar, distinguished member of the Expert Analytical Association “Sovereignty”, spoke with the director of the YouTube channel, “Geopolitica Ariel Umpierrez”, about different events present on the world stage.
Aguilar’s presentation was followed with great interest, both by Umpierrez and by the thousands of users who were connected to the live and who actively participated in the Channel’s chat, as they wanted to know the perspective of Aguilar and Association “Sovereignty” on the various pivotal European, Asian and American events; in addition to thorny conflicts, the existing projected regional reconfiguration plans and the tensions underlying the world system.
The host of the program, Ariel Umpierrez, highlighted the intellectual production of Association “Sovereignty” and the physical presence in numerous countries that our think tank has.
Among the plurality of topics on which Aguilar spoke, our member compared the similarity between the recent Ukrainian military attack on a university building and a student dormitory in the Lugansk People’s Republic and the massacre of Iranian girls at the Minab School by U.S. forces during the “Ramadan War.”
He also expressed his critical position on the position of European governments that unconditionally follow the guidance of the European Union, a bloc that, in Aguilar’s words, “threw itself against the iceberg and is sinking”.
Speaking about the situation in West Asia, he maintained, among other statements, that there are efforts by several major countries to establish a new regional architecture in West Asia and that such a format is outside the dictates of globalists and their partners.
He mentioned that, probably, in December 2026, Trump will have a very different internal U.S. reality from the current one, with obvious disadvantages for his future of governability and his international action plans, which would also affect the course of some world developments.
