Demolishing myths with “Sovereignty”

June 4, 2026

“Demolishing myths” interviewed Juan Antonio Aguilar to learn about and understand in depth various geopolitical files.

Our specialist, in response to the question of the host of the program, Ezequiel Bistoletti, began by clarifying that there was no deliberate Russian drone attack on the Romanian strategic depth and that the drone that crashed into residential apartments in Galati was the product of electronic warfare by Russia’s opponents, he expanded his concept by maintaining that, in reality,  Russia has not yet entered into a war on a direct scale and on a large scale against NATO because if it did, Russian military responses would be of a different nature and/or magnitude.

Aguilar also mentioned that NATO has three fractures: one would occur on the battlefront (“because there is a qualitative change with a campaign of systematic destruction against Kiev’s command and military structure”), the second would occur in the financial dimension because the increase in military spending promoted by the Secretary General of the organization Marc Rutte did not prosper (“There were a series of countries such as France,  Spain, Italy, Canada that said no”); while, finally, the third rupture is of Atlantic cohesion in itself, but in its strategic dimension (“First, by the conduct of the Baltic countries and Poland, which act as the vanguard of the escalation, determining the policy of the European Union with respect to Russia).

Aguilar remarked that these Atlanticist internal fractures are what keep, above all, the European leaders of the bloc in a “nervous situation” and that, in this sense, many of the explosive statements made weekly by these leaders must also be understood.

Regarding the international conjunctures that are happening in West Asia, the expert of our think tank stressed his opinion that U.S. President Donald Trump has failed in his plan against the Islamic Republic of Iran and that, for this reason, he does not see it feasible that the situation of the conflict will tilt in favor of the United States and Israel.  beyond the fact that the conflict scenario continues.

Similarly, and with crystal clarity, Aguilar also spoke about the complexity of the Armenian scene, about which he did not hesitate to call Prime Minister Pashinyan a felon since, in the specialist’s perspective, he is a “traitor to his own people”, because with “With the American and European siren songs he tries to bring [Armenia] towards the NATO bloc,  to try to get the corridor that connects Azerbaijan with the Mediterranean, to transport gas from American Caspian companies, well, to pass through Armenia.”

The host of the series, Ezequiel Bistoletti, also agreed with the points of view expressed by Aguilar, also describing Pashinyan as a “sepoy” and both continued to agree that Pahinyan would want to join the supranational elite, the “Globalist Club”, maintaining ties with all its factions.

Thus, both the interviewer and the interviewee based their assessment that the Yerevan government is linked to the decision-making centers of Atlanticist globalism on a clear and unequivocal destruction of Armenian sovereignty.

Analyzing the electoral contingency in Armenia, Juan Antonio Aguilar said that a policy of repression is being operated against dissidents and opponents of the agenda of the ruling elite of Yerevan through the application of a “state of alert.” He maintained that, simultaneously, Pashinyan ordered “all regional governors to fill buses with workers from regional institutions to participate in the rallies of the national government” And there were even “complaints, for example, from city officials, reprimanding the directors of kindergartens to go to demonstrations, that is,  to Pashinyan’s rallies” and teachers were forced to attend the inaugurations of the party offices of the ruling Civil Contract.
